Citizens debate on glyphosate

Inventio organized, on behalf of the European Parliament, a debate entitled “Glyphosate: Should we ban our most popular pesticide?

The assembly was able to listen to a diverse panel of speakers including MEPs Marc Tarabella (PS, S&D) and Philippe Lamberts (Ecolo, Greens/EFA), Marianne Streel, vice-president of the Walloon Farmers' Federation, Bruno Schiffers, Professor of Phytopharmacy at Gembloux Agro-Bio Tech (ULiège), as well as Jean-Philippe Azoulay, director-general of ECPA (European Crop Protection Association)

At the end of the Q&A session, the 250 or so participants were able to vote for or against the extension of the authorization to use glyphosate.
